Do you see?

What's that in the picture?

No, not the septic tank lid. No, not the snow. That little patch of something right next to it.

It's a piece of my YARD! Hooray!! It's 36 degrees today and I feel like wearing shorts. I heard some songbirds outside of my window today too. Aaaaahhhhhhhhh. I don't know how long we will have this pleasure so I will just enjoy it while I have it.

MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS 'THE GARBAGE CAN" I UNDERSTAND A BURIED GARBAGE CAN, THAT'S ONLY ABOUT 3 FEET OF SNOW, JUST A DRIFT.

WE, TOO, HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SEE GRASS HERE TOO, BUT THAT'S BECAUSE THE WIND HAS BLOWN IT INTO DRIFTS ELSEWHERE.

IT IS WARM HERE AS WELL, AND THE SUN IS SHINING! AND I WENT OUTSIDE! IT'S GREAT. ENJOY IT WHILE IT'S HERE, IT'S STILL ONLY FEBRUARY (SORRY)

LOVE TO YOU ALL, AUNTIE S

Yeah the snow is melting! There is one big problem with that, MUD. We will be up to our eyeballs in mud shortly tracking it everywhere, wiping the dogs feet off when they come in the house. I just hope you aren't having any moisture activity in your basement again.

Yay! You have grass! Enjoy it now. I've been doing the snow dance and asking the snow gods to hit y'all again--HARD! Sorry. I'm still bitter you moved so far away!

(But if your basement flooded again I would feel bad.)

So far the basement is doing well. Today it is about 52 and there is a little pooled area in the back yard. Hopefully it will have time to soak into the ground before more melts.
Praying for a SLOW melt here. :)

I am glad you can see grass! Isn't it great that a little of sun makes people a lot happier. NOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GAME??? My sister in law took her games off her blog site now you. What is this world coming too?

Sorry about the game. I had to take it out for a little while. I was spending too much time on it! heehee

I'll bring it back soon. I just had to take a break.

:)

And yes, the grass is lovely!
